What is the difference between the "Unlimited Plan" and the "Pay-Per-Minute" plan?

With the unlimited plans, customers may make use of the Itellas caller ID spoofing service with free call recording and free voice changer, with no per-minute fees, as long as the call comes from the customer's service phone number.  Unlimited customers who call the service from a phone other than their service phone must purchase minutes to use the service, which can be done by our automated system during the call, or ahead of time from the website. 

Itellas also offers Pay-per-minute options.  Initial purchases may be made in 200, 400, or 800 minute packages.  Subsequent minutes may be purchased in any denomination, with a 25 minute minimum.  Minutes are 10 cents each.   Pay-per-minute callers may call the service from any number they wish and are not restricted to a single service phone number.  This includes unlimited customers not calling from their service phone number.

Where do I find instructions on how to use the services you provide?

Instructions for using all services are provided during each call in the form of voice prompts.  Please listen to all prompts for direction on how to use any itellas service.

Calls to dating services such as LiveLinks, money transfer or wire service such as Western Union are STRICTLY prohibited.  Itellas takes an active stance against fraud and works diligently to protect our customer's credit card information. 

If I record a call, how do I retrieve the recording?

All customers receive access to their personal Itellas control panel, which is available from the home page of itellas.com.  Simply log in with your service phone and pin number to gain access to all account features including call recording, call records, and payment information.  Recorded calls may be downloaded from your Control Panel for up to 30 days from the date of the call. 

What is "Static Spoofing"?

Customers may also enable Static Spoofing, a feature which when enabled, automatically shows the specified Caller ID number for each spoofed call, and does not prompt the caller for the number to use. To enable this service, just log into the control panel and put a check in teh box labeled "Static Spoofing" and then enter the number you want to show up for each call you make. Once this feature is enabled, you will not be prompted to enter a display phone number when you make a call. Instead, the number you entered as your static spoofing number will be displayed everytime you make a call.

Does Itellas give out my personal information to third party interests?

Regarding your privacy, Itellas collects personal information from customers for billing purposes only and under no circumstances will this information be shared with any 3rd party or company.  Itellas does not participate in any marketing programs, and does not have any affiliates or partners.  Your information is kept confidential at all times.

Does Itellas provide "SMS" or "text spoofing"?

No.

Does Itellas support international calls or international customers?

No. We only provide service to and from the U.S. only.

How do I control the name that shows up on Caller ID?

No caller ID spoofing company can control the name that is displayed on Caller ID. The reason for this is because it is controlled by the phone company of the person being called, and cannot be overridden.

How do I cancel my service?

Your account can be closed at any time from our website. Since Itellas doesn't give refunds for unused service, accounts may be scheduled to close at the end of the billing cycle.

Can I use a cell phone, land line, VoIP, or Skype to call the Itellas service?

Yes. Itellas supports all land lines, cellphones, and traditional VoIP services such as Vonage or BroadVoice. Some Vonage customers may experience problems with DTMF (touch tones) due to Vonage's unusually high DTMF volume. Vonage technical support has the ability to correct this issue when asked to.

We do not support Skype customers.

What number shows up on a person's phone bill when I spoof a call to them?

Whatever number you spoof is what shows up on a person's phone bill.

My credit card was declined on your website, but my bank says the charge went through!

If you were declined, YOU WERE DECLINED. If you received a message that your transaction was declined because of an "AVS Mismatch", those authorizations will disappear off your account. This is a function of YOUR BANK and is not something Itellas is doing. Remember that chargebacks are VERY expensive for us, so it's in our best interest to return funds that we collect in error.
